service learning is community service that requires civil engagement, academic study, and practical experience. i think service learning is important for every teen to participate in, its a great way to be active in all types of communities and learn new things. service learning also broadens your perspective on how you view things from a very early age in life. in my opinion service learning is what really help in my areas of growth when i learned that helping others and laboring without pay wasn't a bad thing at all it made me never have to question doing things out of the kindness of my heart. In my experience i haven't had many opportunities' due to covid and most program shutting down because it wasn't safe until the middle o this 22' school year, nut im very grateful for every experience i got to engage in.
